Miami Valley Cross Country Ski Club

About Us

The Miami Valley Cross Country Ski Club (MVCCSC), founded over 20 years ago, has about 85 members, mostly from southwestern Ohio. Most members are over 25 and many are retired.

The club encourages local skiing whenever there is snow, but mostly plans and conducts weekend XC ski trips to Michigan, a week long trip to a major cross country ski resort, and other supplemental trips enjoyed by many members.

Longer trips are planned to locations such as Sun Valley Resort in Idaho; Lone Mountain Ranch, near Yellowstone National Park; Devil’s Thumb Ranch Resort in Tabernash, Colorado.; Far Hills Inn in Quebec;  Silver Star/Sovereign Lakes in British Columbia; Sun Mountain Lodge, Washington; Banff, Alberta, Canada; and Mt. Bachelor, Bend, Oregon.

Club meetings are held monthly from September through April, usually on the first Saturday morning of the month.

Everyone is welcome to join us. Cross-country skiers and potential XC skiers. Our club is for all ages and abilities.
